Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke agree to more 'Scrubs'

It's beginning to look more and more like 'Scrubs' will be returning for a 9th season.

Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke have agreed to appear in 6 episodes next season in order to transition the show to its new set-up, which is still being worked out.

Donald Faison, John C. McGinley and Neil Flynn have all closed deals to continue as regulars in second position to their pilots. Faison and Flynn co-star in hot ABC pilots, 'The Law,' which is already unofficially staffing, and 'The Middle,' respectively. McGinley is on the CBS' drama pilot 'Back.'

Meanwhile, Judy Reyes has not been approached for a deal but may appear as a guest star if 'Scrubs' is renewed.

ABC and creator Bill Lawrence had said they envision the show continuing with a mix of original cast members and some of the interns introduced this past season.
