It looks like the end could be near for 'Scrubs.'According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, no further episodes will be ordered after episode 13. Not a good sign. When asked about the future of 'Scrubs,' here's what he said...
I’m afraid I’ve only got bad news here. No back-nine episodes, and no closure in episode 13. “It’s just a routine episode,” says an insider of what could turn out to be the show’s series finale. “There’s no special moment or anything.”
The show returned this year in a revamped format with new cast members and a new location. The new version of 'Scrubs' hasn't gone over too well with fans and the ratings have not been very good. Last year's season finale would have served much better as a series finale.
We'll probably have to wait until the spring to find out about the future of 'Scrubs' for sure, but the signs are there.
