ABC has given 2nd season orders to 'Castle' and 'Better Off Ted', and has renewed 'Scrubs' for a 9th season.All 3 of these shows are a bit of a surprise to be returning. 'Scrubs' had been treating this season as a final season and 'Castle' and 'Better Off Ted's' ratings weren't exactly stellar.
We had earlier reported that Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke had agreed to return for 6 episodes if 'Scrubs" was renewed.
A formal announcement of the renewals will come on Tuesday when the network announces its fall schedule.
